SHIP BUILDING

Our ship building team comprises of Naval architects, marine Engineers, production & design engineers and project managers having extensive experience in ships/ vessels construction. Our SB is well equipped to build ships up to 26,000 DWT including frigates, fast attack crafts, corvettes, fleet tankers, logistic support ships, bulk carriers, oil tankers, seagoing and harbour tugs, dredgers, hopper barges, passenger ferries, fishing trawlers and special purpose crafts.

Till to-date, have constructed over 500x vessels of different types and sizes. We have multiple shipbuilding berths, equipped with luffing cranes, lifting equipment and allied facilities to undertake simultaneous construction of vessels.

It is worth mentioning that, in the recent past KS&EW has indigenously constructed 17000 T Fleet Tanker and Fast Attack Crafts (Missile) with Harbah weapon systems and undertaken the construction of Gun Boat without any involvement of foreign yard.
